The iPad for me is a gimmick.   Just a gimmick.  After seeing the reveal I thought to myself “well its just a larger iPod Touch really, with 3G data.  Ebooks seem to be taking off, thanks to the Kindle, but I just never saw something that stood out.  Until now.  Alice for iPad really shows what creativity will bring to the eBook table (or tablet?) and should be looked at by others on how you should go about creating these new interactive eBooks.  Am I more interested in an iPad now?  Sure!  Will I get one?  Lets see in a year what V.2 brings.
