Dust off the DS!!!!!

So I got a chance to review the R4 Chip for the Nintendo DS. The chip is called R4 SDHC. This chip is for downloading roms and put music or movies on it. Now setting up is kind of a pain as the card doesn’t come with a software CD so you have to hunt down and install the files. Thankfully there is a website you can go to to download them. But once you get it installed and setup it works like a dream. I am running a 4GB micro-SD card in it with 4 Genesis ROMs and 2 GBA Roms. I also downloaded a DS Rom to test and it worked great. Once you get use to the menu layout its very easy to navigate! Here are some pros and cons.

Pros:
-Inexpensive
-Upgradable to 32GB
-Able to Home-brew
-Can use for Music and Movie player.

Cons
-No software
-No manual
-Doesn’t include a micro-SD card

I say if you have a DS you need a R4 Chip. So go over and check out the guys over at MyGamingMart They also just brought out a few new toys. Like the PS3Break for jail breaking your PlayStation 3.
