Breaking News: LG Wins Patent Infringement Case Against Sony, Playstation 3 Banned

While this is breaking just now, we have learned that LG has won their patent infringement case against Sony, and all PS3′s currently being imported into Europe are being held by customs agents.  For the next 10 days all consoles will be stored in Dutch warehouses, where they will sit while Sony sweats out the possibility that PS3 shortages will start to occur very soon.  There is a good possibility that the injunction will extend well past the 10 days, and could in fact make its way to US and other shores as well.

    Seems to me that companies are pushing harder than before to compete with competitors without doing the actual work of inventing new things rather just building on the work of others I think as this trend continues so will the cases of patent infringement and patent litigation increase.
