Users of the BlackBerry platform know far to well how nice BBM, or BlackBerry Messenger, can be.  Instant communication with many added features.  Those of you that use an Android or iPhone may not have BBM but there are many alternatives, such as Google Talk.  Whats interesting is it appears RIM maybe be looking to expand BBM over to other platforms, and Android is more then likely going to get BBM in some form.  As far as iPhone (iOS) no one knows for sure because of how locked down that App Store may be but its possible as well.

We would just like to say this is a rumor right now as NOTHING  has been confirmed.  Personally, its a bad idea.  Android users use Google Talk, and in fact, coming from my own personal experience my wife who uses a BlackBerry has all her friends with BlackBerry’s on GTalk as well.  Its just easier folks.
