Review: Fanny Wang On Ear Headphones

Posted on Jul 16 2011 - 5:24pm by Bryan

The world of headphones is very large as we all know. Price ranges are very large, some from just dollars, to some that require you to take out a loan from the bank. Yes, it is in a way true that you will get higher quality headphones with the more money you spend on them, but luckily Fanny Wang solves this problem.

First thing to note about Fanny Wang headphones is yes, they do look like beats, but there are many differences, which I won’t list off (don’t want to get into those waters). Yes, Monster did sue Fanny Wang and that’s an entire different story.

So anyways, the product we are going to review today are the On Ear Wangs. The headphones have a really nice removable cord.  It really stands out, but the nicest thing of all is their Duo Jack. Plug a second pair of headphones into the Duo Jack to allow another person to listen into your tunes.

The headphones have really nice and comfortable earcups that are well padded and comfortable to wear for hours. The On Ears are foldable, and come with a white, soft carrying bag for travel. Note that the bag won’t protect the headphones if dropped.

But where do Fanny Wang headphones really stand out, the sound. This is of course the most important aspect of the headphones. They do have 40mm drivers which sound freaking amazing. There isn’t too much bass, like competitors have, which is a real disadvantage when bass drowns out the true music. Fanny Wang On Ear Headphones’ bass is complimentary and just sounds really good.

Overall, I highly suggest the On Ear Wangs, for the price of $169.95, it’s not too much for a good pair of headphones and having a good price will make it easier when headphone shopping. My overall rating on the On Ear Headphones by Fanny Wang are an amazing 5/5. They are available in many different colors, including White, Black, Red, and now Pink.

We will be reviewing the next model, the DJ Wang Over Ear Headphones around the end of August. Stay tuned!
