It looks like the wait will be over soon as Verizon has officially announced the availability of the Motorola Droid RAZR. According to Verizon, for those interested in getting their hands on the device, they will be able to start pre-ordering it tomorrow and the devices will start shipping no later than 10th of November, although to be safe, you probably shouldn’t hedge all of your bets on that date, in case of any unforeseen delays.
The Droid RAZR will set you back $299.99 on a two year contract with Verizon, and for those who forgot, the Droid RAZR will pack a 1.2GHz processor under the hood, an 8MP camera with 1080p HD video recording capabilities, a 4.3” qHD Super AMOLED display, Android’s Gingerbread 2.3 and will measure in at a pretty darn thin 7.1mm. It will also feature 4G LTE connectivity on Verizon’s network.
If you need more convincing on why you should get the device, Motorola has recently confirmed that the Droid RAZR, along with the Droid Bionic and Xoom, will be getting the Android Ice Cream Sandwich not too long after it has been made public by Google.
