Steam, Valve’s PC download on demand game store, has pretty much become the standard for games on demand for PC users.  What hasn’t happened yet unfortunately is an official mobile client, but thats not stopping third party developers from giving it a go.  IBF Programs has created a Steam client for Android that does pretty much everything but play games.

Steam for Android lets you check your Steam’s public profile. See whether your friends are online or playing a certain game, check your groups updates, or simply peek at the Steam Specials tab to see if there are any interesting discounts on the Steam store.
