The name, View Twin Shell, really describes this case very well. The Evo 3D by itself is a thick well built phone, and any case no matter what will add heft to an already hefty device. The best thing case manufacturers can do for a device such as this is to create something that molds and fits as snug as possible. Griffin accomplished this, but there is a fault. Read on for more.
The first thing you notice after you attach the case is how smooth and nice it looks. Having that red accent all around the rim shows off what HTC brought with their EVO line of devices, nice color between the black and red.

Features
- Two layers of protection for HTC EVO 3D smartphone
- Sheer silicone inner cushion
- Hard polycarbonate outer shell
- Built-in kickstand for landscape viewing

The kickstand is perfect for viewing video’s, whether you are sitting on a couch, on the train, or a passenger in for a long car ride. Its sturdy, and you dont get the feeling the phone will fall off of your lap. When you take an already bulky phone you expect all cases to create some extra thickness, but to be honest, the View Twin Shell really keeps the phone as slim as possible. I barely notice a difference with the case on or off.
That being said, it didn’t come without issue. The case fits so snug that its almost impossible to take off once snapped on. It took close to 10 minutes to finally pry it off, and that was taking a risk of breaking the case. If you decide to give it a try, make sure you are certain you want to keep it on.
While nothing is perfect the case itself is more than worth the price of admission. I would highly recommend it if you want to keep an already bulky phone protected without adding much more bulk.
