When I first got the box I was happy to see that they support iOS and Android sorry Blackberry users. But if you have a laptop you can connect via an http address. Now the apple devices supported is iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch all require to have iOS 3 or higher.

Now for connection if you have your router close by you can just run an included Ethernet cable to the router if not you can use wi-fi but it can lag a little for streaming. But that is dependent on your connection and quality of your router. Also included in the box is the power adapter, user manual which I found is actually needed, and the IR detector for set top boxes.

The setup was rather tricky I followed the directions for my set top DVR wasn’t supported but I did get it working with a box in another room. Thankfully the Hauppauge is small enough to hide away or mount on a wall. It is about the size of a normal home router. Once I got it setup thou the ease of use was great

All of your channels are laid out when you log in and there is little to no lag when streaming over the internet. Yet again this all depends on you connection. They say you can use this over 3G or 4G but I would recommend a Wi-Fi connection or you could eat up your data.
