Review: Cygnett Apollo for iPhone 4/4S

Cygnett’s Apollo is a hard shell hybrid case that is available for the iPhone 4 and 4s. It has a scratch and fingerprint-resistant surface and a grooved, shock absorbent interior. The Apollo case is available in purple, black, or white. It has a smooth matte finish and grey rubberized accents that make the case really stand out.

From the moment you take the Apollo out of the packaging, you can see how sturdy it is. It is a case that will protect your case from those falls that make you cringe once your precious phone touches the ground. It has cutouts for the iPhone’s camera and LED flash, the ring/silent switch, speaker, microphones, headphone jack, and the dock-connector.

Both the volume buttons and the sleep/wake button are covered by a raised, rubber button, which works without any issues. I have had cases in the past where it is difficult to press down on the button, making it nearly impossible to use the case without any issues.

The case fits the iPhone nicely. It has a tight fit around the iPhone, but when you want to remove it, the case comes off easily. The best part about this case is that it comes with a screen protector. This is something more cases need to do, since protecting the screen of an electronic is a big priority to many users.

Overall, I love this case. I love the color of the case I was given, which is purple, and how it stood out. My sister-in-law is currently sporting the case, and she loves it as well. I have yet to see her use a different case on her iPhone since I gave it to her. The case is available on their website for $29.99, which is a good price for this type of case. Check it out now.
